Ok, so some of you know i am a svt, specialist ford tech and expert toyota tech. Well, i went in on my day off to do a state inspection on my older brothers car. Im there 30 minutes shooting the **** when i see the Pre-delivery inspection truck drive through with our GT on it. I get excited and run outside. I talk to the driver and he tells us there are not many around. we realized this seeming how this is our first. So me and the general manager are outside checking it in. And i (im the Mustang guy at our place) pull it in and do the PDI check on it. Im looking at it. Its a very nice car on the outside and i like the interior alot. I dont like the e-brake handle. I dont like the leg room either, im 6 foot and 200 lbs. My right leg hits the dash board. But i wasnt all that mad, because there isnt a Mustang i fit in very well. Also i dont like how FORD downsized the tire package. They now run Pirelli Pzero's, 235/55zr17. NOT a good thing. I could light these things up through 3rd easy, without even powershifting. It was limerock green, Bullit wheels, 5 speed. I like how much room is in theengine bay. Looks like headers will not be a problem for once. ( 4.6 anyways) there is a feature you can change the color on the cluster. But i like how you cant change it when youre driving. So i take it out on the main road and sink 3/4 throttle. Its ok i say to my buddy that was with me. Get on the highway and open it up..... Not very pleased to say the least. Electronic throttle also. Not cool when im almost at redline in second and shift third and it takes a second to kick. It will be fun to mod. But im not pleased with the amount of power it has. The sticker was 26,xxx. My price is 22,xxx. I can get an 04 Mach 1, for 21,xxx..... I did get alot of LOOKS. Everyone turned there heads. And people even slowed down in a double lane so i could blow by them. I didnt get to race anyone so i couldnt tell how it could do. I do know it had some ****ty gears, seeming how i never touched 5th gear. Hardly 4th. I had my picture cell phone on me so i snaped a few good pics before i took it back to the dealership. ( i was out for 2 hours in this thing. ) So there is a better part to this, im in portsmouth, Nh. And i stop in a parking lot... and none other than an 05 FORD GT is sitting there, red with white striped.... WOW. This is great, as soon as i get out and look in the window i see the door locks open and behind me is the owner.Nice car he says. lol. Im like, you too. We start talking and he payed 300,000 for this thing. Here in NH i guess they like to get there moneys worth... What did he trade in for this you ask... a 360 modena. Yeah, nice huh. He said it was a 2000 and needed something new. Hes an oral surgon. I also took a shat load of pics of that thing too. I sat in it. Very nice seats also. The interior looks a bit confused though. So to say the least i had a wonderful day. In conclusion, i like the exterior and interior alot on the 05's. But power wise... it lacks.

Wow, I bet sitting in that Ford GT was AWESOME.

I'll probably never even see one of those in person.

The commercial for the Ford GT was nice, I loved when the announcer asked, "What gear do you realize that NO ONE can catch you?" I said 3rd.

OB, if you werent working on Sat. I would have driven it to youre house.... well maybe not to youre house, but we could have met at the gas station. But too late for that now. lol. I dont know if i can upload pics from my cell phone on to my computer but i am gonna try and do it. It would have been even better to drive it. Would i want to own one, yeah. Would it be a dream, nope. I dont get silly over cars. All i can do is drive them.... now girls on the other hand.
