I've been looking for an exhaust system for my 03 GT. I came across this setup - Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow mufflers with MAC pro-chamber H-pipe. Does anybody have any experience, or know anything about this setup? What will it sound like? I want a fairly loud system.Also, I've been hearing many different opinions on both H-pipes and X-pipes. Which one will give the better sound? I don't care about what will give the best performance, for I have other power adders coming so I'm not worried about gaining an extra 5 hp. Thanks a lot guys for all the help.

An X-pipe will sound like a European car, an H-pipe will sound like a 60's muscle car. If you want loud sound, I heard the Delta Flows reduce the sound level, but that is based on what someone told me. But I knew someone who put those on his 02 GTand it sounded fairly loud, even w/o aftermarket h-pipe. My car was louder than his though. I have a 96 GT and my car is very loud and has an aggressive sound. I have the 40 series Flows (this has the most aggressive sound) without the Delta Flow anda 2.5" BBKoff road H-pipe w/o cats.
It's cool Jugador. I finally decided that right now, a new Cobra is too much for me to spend, I will be better off buying a gt and modding it. And besides, I got a great deal on this car because of a family friend that works for Ford. I got this 2003 GT with 2k miles, for $19,000. I thought this was an awesome deal. So I took it. And anyways, when people see a cobra, they automatically think its fast. Maybe my GT can pose as a sleeper, and eat up some Z06 corvettes some day!?!?! lol <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">

I like Magnaflows sound over Flowmaster, it's much much deeper. But... SLP has it all over EVERYONE on LS1 cars with their exhaust system, I just saw a thread about SLP is offering a setup for GT's now..I have a couple hundred bucks laying around and I'm really considering giving SLP a try, I absolutely love their sound on LS1's..although many F-body guys did slam SLP for poor quality.</P>
