Default 04 vs 04 GT

Yeah, I'm riding around and it's about 12:00am. What do I see waiting at a light ahead of me? A brand new 2004 White Mustang GT. Still had the temp tags on it and had the cutsey little 40th anniversery badge on the side. The guy was probably about 25 or so I'd say. I can tell he wanted to go. Well, mainly because he was rev'ing pretty high at me. I rev back with my loud ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAR! So yeah, light turns green and we're off! We were both about neck and neck til we hit about 35mph, I started pulling on him more. Then when we get to about 60, I guess he ****ed up cause I heard this loud ass over-rev and some grinding and then see him slow down more. I started giving in to the breaks and he starts to get on the shoulder and slows down more. Whoops! Brand new toy is broken. I saw him stop so I did and actually backed up a bit to get within reasonable walking distance. Asked if everything was OK. He said yeah, the stick slipped and he was just panicing. I was like "Just makin sure...... Wanna go again?" He started leaving and I got back to my car and started driving. Noticed he was driving much slower than the speed limit. I knew what was coming. The second I got beside him, we were going about 40 in a 55, I dropped it into 2nd and immediately started pulling on him. I guess he only went into third. I shutdown at about 70 since I had that one in the bag and my turn was coming up. I waved and he waved back.

That woulda really sucked if he did mess something up with his car because of me. I'd feel so bad. Probably his first real sports car and doesn't know what he has under that hood yet.

^[sm=exactly.gif]. If it was broken it he could have driven it harder. Oh well, good kill.

hehe, I raced my 04 gt against another 04 gt at the track a few weeks ago. He had a K&N drop-in and straight piped exhaust to my mods in my sig. He got the better 60 time but I trapped about a half mph on him and beat him by like 0.06 seconds lol. Thank god for my MAF upgrade because we were essentially identical
