I like Lawfonda babbling about how the officer should have reacted differently. Not that her whoever relation it was SHOULDN'T HAVE FING BEEN CARJACKING!!! What a joke. He got just what he deserved. Just like the guy here in Racine, WI. It was a white guy (carjacker) getting shot by a black guy (carjackee) though. Worst thing is, the carjackee here in WI just got sentanced to life for killing the carjacker. What a load of CRAP. You heard it here 1st, if anyone ever breaks into my car/house, they are going to die by high speed lead poisining, I guarentee it.
1 less **** to be killed stealing, bein dis honest, wtf ever ....he should get off his sorry black ass and work like the rest of america...those sorry bastards already have it made w/ the gov't, after all u have to be black to even get govt help
Well we know where you stand racist, i'm half black and white so i get it from both ends so i know first hand. So i can tell you that you can replace the car but not a life, eventually the guy would have gotten caught, who wouldn't be pissed about getting a gun pulled on them i have, thats what insurance is for, the video wouldn't come up for me, but if he would have been driving a late model GM onstar would have recovered it with in hours with no problems.
I think anyone would feel a lot of grief if a family member was killed, no matter what the circumstances. The black people I know go to work everyday to support their families. Every person deserves to be judged for who they are, and not by skin color or appearance.
The kid pulled a gun on this guy to take his car and at the same time threaten his life. If someone is willing to use a weapon then they should be ready to die as well. Also the cop didn't know what the kid was thinking at the time or what he was going to do. So this shouldn't be a white\black thing even though some will view it that way. It's a shame that someone so young is dead but it's also because of his own stupidity and greed.
What if this kid shot and killed the cop, who most likely has a wife and children? What then?
like i said its just a freaken car, let him be someones bitch in prison, what if the cop missed and the the carjacker ended up killing him, now whats his wife and kids to do now. alot of things could have happened, his family could have been with him, with that in mind, bullits don't care who you are or if you are black or white, they hit what ever is in their way.

and what if the kid shot the guy he carjacked anyway even after giving up the car? give me a break. notice how nothing was said if the kid fired first or made some kind of move. the news doesn't show the details, only the fact that a teenager got shot. i'm assuming he made a move instead of just running or giving up HIS gun to an officer. but no, he stayed to get shot over "just a car". you don't know what happened, i don't know, the kid's family doesn't know, the reporters that covered the story don't know. so stop acting like this all could have been avoided. as you said, "alot of things could have happened". one less bad seed on the streets in my opinion. stop defending the criminal. that's like trying to tell someone a piece of dog crap tastes like a snickers bar.

i could give a crap about the carjacker, but i do know that your life, my life, your kids life, the carjackers life, (even though is a piece of crap) is worth more then a automobile. so you wouldn't defend you brother whom might have needed some money and made a bad choice like this and got shot a killed over it. to me i don't think anything should happen to the guy who shot him just cause it was self defence, but seeing that he is a cop, and trained to handle it a different way, no but everyone wants to be a hero. oh but wait, there's one less wannabe thug in the world, what ever
I can't view the video for what ever reason.. Although, one of my fellow officers got carjacked the other morning..
Read about it..
Uniformed Off-Duty Milwaukee Officer Shot
Updated: January 15th, 2007 03:06 PM PDT
An off-duty Milwaukee police officer was shot early Monday morning at a gas station at Appleton and Hampton avenues. The officer, 36, had a civilian coat on over his uniform and had stopped at the gas station at about 1:20 a.m. to purchase gas and salt for his driveway. Police said that when he walked out of the gas station to his sport utility vehicle, two males approached him. One pointed a gun at his chest, and another behind him held a gun up to his neck and ordered him into the vehicle, according to police. They drove into an alley behind 8133 W. Hampton Avenue. A third male followed in a stolen van, according to police. Police said the suspects then ordered the officer out of his vehicle. Once out of the vehicle, one suspect was ordered to search the officer. The officer shoved the suspect away, which is when he was shot in the stomach, according to police. The officer was still wearing his ballistic vest and the bullet did not penetrate, police said. Police said he was able to draw his service weapon and return fire and call Milwaukee police. He shot two suspects -- one in the finger and one in the shoulder. They both fled on foot, police said. Police said the officer fired at least 10 shots. The third male tried to drive off in the van, smashed into a fence in the alley and had to break a window to run away, police said. Responding officers tracked the males to a nearby apartment. Two of them, both 17 years old, had been shot and were taken into custody, police said. A third suspect, 18, was also arrested. Two other people in the apartment, a 23-year-old man and 24-year-old woman, were arrested on warrants. The officer, was treated for a skin tear and released from an area hospital. He has been with the Milwaukee Police Department for nearly six years.

IF IT WAS A CAR JACKING LET THAT PIECE-O-CHIT ROT.. Typical black response "he should have just let him have the car." Bish, you make me sick.. Your family member wants to take my $30k car because he thinks he can do what ever he wants? Nope, I dun think so..
I got an idea................ RAISE YOUR OFF SPRING RIGHT SO THEY DON'T PULL THIS CRAP.. ITS YOUR FAULT PEOPLE!
thank GOD for vest, but in this case he had to do what he had to do to survive. Thank GOD he came out alright, but something smells fishy, i'm not saying he's a bad cop, you get what you dish out or he was in to deep. i know cops protect their own, just me i have a bad taste in my mouth about cops, and i have a criminal justice degree, and not all cops are bad but the one's i've ran into were, and i never been in trouble with the law, just a few tickets.
