Hey your talking about me. I am the mom with the muscle cars.    As a kid sitting on my brothers lap I drove all their muscle cars. 67 chevelle, Gtx and the last one had GTO Judge. and 69 stang had alot of brothers.  When I got my own in high school got a 1969 ss camaro  25 years later still have her and a 1970 drop top and 98 Cobra drop top with a Rousch kit.  Just because you get older doesn't mean things cant  get better. Enjoy my cars could not make me give them up without force.  And by the way my father was a hot rodder. It does run in the blood.    My 19 year daughter is following in my footsteps.

I must've been adopted, LOL, as neither of my parents were into cars ... until the day I got my Cobra! Whenever my mom wants a ride, she wants to go top down, classic hippie rock blaring, and no granny shifting! Although I do not condone racing, *ahem* ... but, she once egged me on to put to shame a 35th anniversary Camaro SS on the freeway being driven solo by some guy. Hehe, I dropped it down a gear or two, let my supercharger kick in, and left him in the dust! And the whole time, she was waving and acting like a hooligan! Haha, I have a cool mom, LOL!

My dad is too quiet and reserved. He would not have condoned this at all, hehe!

I just found out that both my mom and dad drove a 69 mustang when they were college hippies.  no not really hippies but one pony was like a fire engine red and the other was a deep blue color.

Are you sure they weren't Flower Power Red and Grabber Blue?
