Some kid that drops off his girlfriend at my school has an orange Mustang with Boss stickers, it's really loud, but it sounds like crap and the sound is crackly (if you know what I mean, it kinda sounds like a dirtbike). It has a 99-04 style body, but I don't think they made a Boss then. So is this kid a loser/fake?

Its a fake. The closest thing they have made to a Boss since the seventies was the '95 Mustang Boss that had a 10 liter engine. Only one was made and its sole purpose was to build up hype for the sn95 models.

shinoda corp, which was founded by larry shinoda (the originator of the boss mustang) offers boss packages for all newer stangs, sn95s and newer...they range from strictly appearance packages, to performance packages, but they are very expensive...

unless it has the shinoda registration, its not a real boss...its just a mustang with a body kit and some decals.

My mother in law had a 70 Boss in Calypso Coral.... she bought it in 78 and sold it in 85... it's now in a junk yard! :( That thing was AWESOME...and it MOVED....
