I checked it out. I went to Best Buy and they said that it wouldn't work with the Shacker 500 or 1000 so that why I went to Ford and and got the Trip Tunes. It's just a wired FM mod and don't charge the Ipod. Someone on here had the Harrmon Cardon setup and I think that is how I will go. If this does work, then I think this would be the cheaper way to go.

no...it will only work on the shakers because it has the folder scrolling capabilities not present in the standard radio. as well as the aux button. if it doesnt work in the shaker it will never work.

i Have the Harmon Kardon Setup and its the Whip and a half the Ipod is safley and securly charging in the Glove box and you neednt evn move your hand much to change the songs and it very natural the way the knob is setup you also need to buy the PIE Ford adapter from cruchfield heres the link http://www.crutchfield.com/S-IbRtqrS...p;i=469FRD4AUXits much better than a FM mod because its directly into your stereo and now your AUX button can earn its Keep (Lazy Button!)it also keeps a subduded and clossy look to your car and keeps you from having to look down at the radio you need only glaces sideward Heres the pics of it in my car

I have this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1153337432303in my ride and i have the shaker 500 6 cd changer and it works great. I installed it myself took a lil bit but worth the satisfaction in the end and theres tons of write ups around to help you walk it through it. hope this helps.
