Default 93-95 lightning engine



I was wanting to know if anyone has a lightning 351 engine for sale. I am going to put it in an 87GT.</P>

lightning 351? im assuming you mean the lightning truck. and the 93-95 lightnings had a N/A 5.4 V8, not a 351.

Default 93-95 lightning engine

The 93-95 Lightning trucks had a roller 351w with GT-40 intake,the 99 up lightnings have a 5.4 mod motor with a supercharger.

Yup its a 5.8 not 5.4</P>

Default 93-95 lightning engine

93-95 f-150 lightning also have cast iron gt40 heads.svt claimed that it had 240hp but it was actually closer to 300hp.I dont think 240hp can propell a 4378lb vehicle to a 15.1 in the 1/4 mile. I think you can figure what the quarter mile is with this motor in your mustang by takeing away .1 for every 100lbs.
