Default Man with a Mustang in need of help

ok well i have a 1993 Mustang lx sedan 2.3 liter with 8 plugs...umm....lets see...it has 67,000 orginal miles on it and the interior is in very good condition the seats are a little standed but fine....now i have posted before about engines and everything....now this car is in good condition other than a lot of rust it has....it has rust on the body mostly surface rust and everything but there are less than 5 huge holes...now i am going to take care of that first...well i have to fix my brakes first acually because there is a leak in it....now i wanted to know in the back of my car there is a hum...i think its the fuel pump...i don't know if it is it making the noise or if it is just vibrating...i wanted to know if anyone has had this problem...also i wanted to know if fixing it up would be worth it...i mean theres a lot of rust...exterior under the body..it woud take some work to fix it and everything...but i'm willing to do it if it is worth it.....i've had this car for a little while now and i just wanted to get peoples opinion....also i wanted to know if the 8 plugs is weird or what not on my car...i have never seen that before....well thank you for you time

8 plugs isn't uncommon. My 93 has the same engine. When it comes to rust, it just isn't worth messing with if you want to save money, sell the rust bucket and buy something solid, even if it needs paint. There is a reason the call rust cancer, once it starts eating away, it is very hard and expensive to get rid of.

and as far as the fuel pump, they tend to get noisier as they get older and start to wear out

ok well i mean the rust isn't that bad all it would take is a grinder and then some sheet metal to fill in the holes, but the car overall is solid.,..its just got a little work to it...for me its worth it...plus the engine and interior are in great shape....although i'm having trouble with the damn breaks...i'm replacing from like the middle of the hardline back just up to were the lines go into the acual break...with a littl work and some time it will be a good mustang...and for the fuel pump i should just replace it or could i replace it in a little while...i dont' have all that much money but i can fix it with a little time to save the money up...other than what i have told you about my car thats about it with being wrong...its a good car i just need to do a little work on it then i can acually start to make it better than stock....well thanks for the info people
