Yes. There is an electrical adapter that is the "go between" for the factory wiring harness and the newdeck. It plugs directly into the factory din plug, and has wires that connect to all the factory speakers, power supply and suchincludessome RCA jacks that can plug into the back of the new deck for the subs. Go to a stereo shop and you should get the hook-up on one.

Yes. There is a harness adapter that plugs directly into the stock Mustang din plug (maybe two plugs) and a bunch of wires coming out. All these wires identified via packaging of new harness, and connect all the speakers, the power line, ground, remote turn-on for amps (blue wire), memory wire (yellow).

Will look something like the pic below. Here is a link to a site that carries all kinds of stuff like this.http://www.installer.com/wires/

I don't know much about specific amps, speakers etc.... I just know good fundamental knowledge on building systems and mech. stuff.

When comes to building a system, I keep in mind two things. First is, "listen" to my ears. They will NOT lie to me. The speakers, amps that my ears like.....I like! Next, is buy as much power as I can afford. I tend to stick with Alpine, Boston Acoustics and upper line stuff, that has stood the test of time. I also believe (and said as much on this forum), there is NO short-cut to good sound.
There are ALOT of manufacturers out there, and because sales depend on capitalism to survive, cost will usually give you a good idea as to quality based on "numbers" comparisons to other companies equip.
So do lots of research (as you are now) and do what your budget allows. If you are happy with whatever system you choose, that is ALL that counts.
