Default 2006 V6 Aftermarket Exhaust

OK I know you're all saying "not another thread on exhaust". I just have one question. Does anyone know which aftermarket exhaust has the most rumbling sound out there. The last thing I want to end up with is something like those import wannabes. I want something that will set car alarms off a block away while idling and still be steet legal. Any suggestions?

i actually just set off a car alarm on my way home today. Stoked about it. My only trick was no muffler.... I've heard alot of people say thats a dumb idea an what not but it sounds awesome to me(i did order a MRT tho) And i also feel a big gain in my opinion. Also read an article that said 11hp gains with no muffler. Give it a try, it will back fire real bad when car is cold but when you warm up it sounds good.

You have to listen to sound clips (there are plenty of them around here) and decide for yourself what you like, but personally I was also going for the rumbly, throaty sound, and ended up ordering a Flowmaster. But there are lots of options which sound very nice, so just sift through some old threads and check out the sound clips.

I like my dual magnaflows sets off alarms is legal and has a deep sound.

EDIT It will set off alarms when starting and driving by not at idle. If you find one that loud at idle theres no way itll be legal at all

If you want to go with single exhaust, I recommend Magnaflow. It has been on the car now over 1500 miles and it keeps getting deeper and deeper. It is also 100% stainless and will last forever.

Good Luck!!!

what youd have to do is get lt headers and an o/r prochamber and slp loudmouths

he he he that would be loud as hell
you also need an intake to tie that all together....and a good excuse when the cops pull you over for violating sound laws

Any way you could post a sound clip of that? I've been debating going with duals, an H pipe and no mufflers..just straight tips out the back.

Are you going full duals or just a single can?

Me and nonstopred have the PYPES true duals with Street Pros.

Loud as He!!

Check out my videos.

On the highway cruisin' at 75, the truckers can hear me over their trucks.

Very low tone.

I need to get some videos of "passing gear" going by trucks.

Sounds like a Ferrari Dino.

You'll never get it to sound like an 8.
