It's worth the $20. but more useful before you purchase the car! It will show any info reported to motor vehicle offices so you see how many owners and for how long and the mileage they put on, no names, just locales and the aforementioned info. This would be the ownership history. Found out mine was a Florida car for most of it's life thus the white drop top and white seating and working AC!
Any title problems like if the car was salvaged, rebuilt, not actual mileage, lemon buyback, etc.
Any reproted accidents. You also get to add info about the car if needed so the nest owner gets accurate info, again well worth the $20. mark
PS: Mine was in Florida from 12/99 to 6/2004 and then it had 49K miles and when I bought it in 6/'06 it had 53K miles so it was not driven much in NY, just 4K miles. Good Luck!
