Throttle Body/ Plenum

I ordered my ported TB/Plenum from Amazon Racing today. I shoul have it in a couple of days. I can't wait to install it!

The dyno results of similar modded Cobra's have shown around 9 RWHP at peak, but as much as 22 RWHP/RWTQ across the curve. That should make for a nice low-mid range difference.

I will take pictures of the port job. As of now, I can't seem to upload any pics to the site. I have some of the new pulley and bumper inserts and will try to post later.

Hey WHT00GT,

I looked up an old message today from you about the Accufab unit your friend was selling. I was going to write to you, but figured that it was probably too late since it was over a month ago.

I don't know about having a dyno since my tuner is 2 hours away. I have already talked to him and he said that he tuned my car slightly rich as he knew I would be doing the mid-pipe and TB/Plenum.

I have heard some good things about JLT, but I like my K&N FIPK too. It really woke the car up when I first installed it.

MD, you don't have anything to be jealous about. If I could drive like you it may be another story. [sm=smiley1.gif]

thats cool.... yeah, i forgot to send a pm about that, he did sell it. i was actually going to buy it from him. i am going to get the bullet intake and need an oval t/b.(maybe, depending on what they do with the p51). keep your eye out for a black 03 cobra with a driver named sean kelly... he will be in muscle mustang and fast fords here shortly. they are doing a shootout in one week at MIR. he got invited, along with 7 other guys... he is a good friend of mine and is the one that had the t/b. if you ever have any questions, let me know and i can ask him... he's good people and knows his **** as you will see in the mag....

I will look for it. I generally get that mag when I see a new one out. They had some good articles about Cobra's this month.

It's amazing what guys like your friend are doing with these cars. I doubt that I will ever have anything like that, but it does inspire me.
