OK folks, before this thread spirals down hill - lets PLEASE stop beating the dead horse. No more posts from owners unless you have a 2006 S-281 E and have something to contribute to these guys that are sharing their pain. Yes even I was guilty a few times . So please stop the bickering and move on to threads that we can all contribute to.
Best of luck with the trial db28. Do let us know the outcome when you hopefully get taken care of in February.

Those who know my posts know that I normally don't say such things, but I think this guy is full of cr*p. So he takes the time to give us his attorney's contact info but never once said what a single problem was with is E? If there's a confidentiality provision in his settlement agreement, then there is absolutely no reason to refer us to his attorney because his attorney can't tell us anything either. It speaks volumes that prior to entering into a settlement, when he was free to say whatever he pleased, this guy never once could say what his issues were with his Saleen (other than some issues common to all Mustangs).
I FEEL YOU I WAS IN THE SAME SITUATION AND PAIN AND DRAGGED ALONG FOR 12 MONTHS WITH THIS CRAP GALPIN FORD AND SALEEN UNTIL I FINLAY GOT SETTLED ON MY CASE TOO LAST WEEK BUNCH OF JERKS I FEEL YOU BIG TIME I WAS STRESSING ON MY CAR TOO BUT IN MY CASE MY CAR WAS THERE AND I WAS DRIVING A FORD FOCUS PAYING 1200 A MONTH ON A SALEEN EXTREME WHICH I NEVER GOT TO ENJOY AND DRIVE AND AFTER 9 MON HTS I GOT IT BACK FOR A COUPLE WEEKS ALL DAMAGED AND DESTROYED IT WAS WORST NIGHT MARE I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN I WAS A VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER AND A BIG BIG FAN OF SALEEN AND OWNED 4 CARS FROM THEM SINCE 99 AND I NEVER THOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD TREAT ME LIKE THIS AT ALL AND ON TOP OF THAT ITS A EXTREME WHICH THEY SEED THEY GIVE EXTRA ATTENTION AND CARE SO I FEEL YOU MAN I REALLY DO .MY CARS AT GALPIN NOW THEY FINALLY TO IT BACK LEMON LAW HOPE THEW NEW OWNER WILL DO A BETTER JOB IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE AND SUPPORT BUT IT WILL TAKE TIME FOR THAT UNTIL THEN I WILL NEVER BUY A SALEEN AGAIN

Saleen 100: Do us all a favor and go back to school and take a english writing class, then get back to us when you can put together a understandable sentence. Then you group together these sentences into what is called a paragraph.

From my understanding, the problem that he had was the battery draining out when his car was left in the garage for a few days. The became undriveable. He said that he took it to his Ford dealership, Ford blamed and Saleen blamed Ford so the problem was never fixed. At least that was my understanding.
As long it has been settled, I hope this thread dies out

I love this comment on the ebay site "THIS CAR WAS A MANUFACTURES BUYBACK DUE TO NO STARTING ISSUE THAT HAS SINCE BEEN FIXED. THE IN SERVICE DATE WAS 8/25/2006" If this was true, I dont think db28 would have gone thru all the trouble of getting the issue resolved in the first place.
