its simple if u love the car and if u love saleens then get it fixed ive been throught all this drama many times but like a drug addict i always end up going back to a saleen cause i love the cars yeah sometime there cheap quility and parts, hopefully one day they will be perfect other then that there fun cars and classy ive owned corvettes too ive had a 2006 zo6 before i sold it and bought my saleen extreme 2 diff cars and quility but you like what you like and thats the end of it and p.s dont throw ur money away with buying a roush thats a pep boys car put together 90% of the froush guys if u ever get lucky to have them pop open there hood got saleen superchargers in them lol

Now now fellas - this is the SALEEN & ROUSH section. Nowhere in this topic was it asked if you prefer Roush or Saleen, nor did it ask for your "pep-boys" opinion about Roush cars They are both sweet cars, and no doubt both will have their issues.

I have searched here on this site, and I have not found where the TSB addresses the 2006 electrical problem that is at hand. It talks about the >> Dtc p1000 may not clear in high altitude conditions. << Please help on that 1. I did find the Shaker 500 radio article.

Galpin Ford is the biggest clusterfu#* of stooges I have ever seen in my life. I know they sell a lot of Saleen mustangs but the guys that work there and claim they are the "Saleen" sales people so mis informed they should not even have a drivers license.
Furthermore, they call them cars SAYLEEEN's and don't even know the difference between a 3 Valve and a blown car.

If these are dates, I didnt find anything on the FORUMS about them. I'm looking for the TBS that deal with Ford & Saleen, electrical problems & others. To those of you that have e-mailed me direct with your problems, I Thank you.

its good to see all of us banning together our information and the information we pass on to others will be useful for potential buyers, and for buyers who have already been screwed, by saleen or dealers that sell saleen vehicles. if anyone is thinking about buying a saleen from hines park ford in mich, don't do it !!!!! they will kiss your @ to purchase, and then stab you right in the back, the first time you have a legit problem--BEWARE OF HINES PARK FORD !!!!!!!!! sam

Going by the e-mails I am getting, there are some serious problems with the 2005-2007 Saleen's. I cant disclose them at this time. All of you, will find out about them in the (near)future.
I am just amazed at how the Ford Dealerships,Saleen Inc. & Ford Motor Corp. are handling US(as consumers) who have spent Good $$ on a product that neither will stand behind(finger pointing).

I have had some small issues in general with my car- but I will step up and tell everyone that SAR and Bill Vaughn have followed thru and resolved my issues.
I can complain, but I also have to commend when my problem is taken care of.
I don't know what "issues" db28 is talking about, because to date there hasn't been a mass recall on the Saleens, but there have been small bugs and problems rise up on the vehicles.
We all know small batches of cars made like the Saleen carry a higher risk factor in the problem dept.
Maybe theres something more to it?

I check on this thread everytime someone posts, just to see where the train wreck is headed so I think I'm responsible for 1/2 those 1000 hits :)
I have an '06 E, no problems with it yet. I'm looking forward to the unveiling of the issue list (apart, of course, from anything already discussed on this board)

1 issue I will give you to think about as far as my #128 Extreme. That is under Bill Vaughn(Great Guy dont get me wrong)Supervision (at Saleen Inc. Irvine plant) had my car for 2-full weeks for all the problems. Take a wild guess what happened when I 1st got it back? The Same thing>Electrical Problems you guessed it. Drove it home & back to square 1 again, like nothing had been done. I can also tell you that Saleen did put 100+ miles on it, plus, gave it back to me with an Empty tank for the 2weeks they had it. Bill can only do what I request I understand, but for Upper Management to make decisions & give me ridiculous decisions that dont make sense, I find that Lack of Customer Service/Focus.
I am not & will not bad mouth any particular person at Saleen Inc.,Galpin Ford or Ford Motor Corp.
My Topic is to find OTHER SALEEN owners with problems too, which I have thru personal e-mails. To all I Thank You.
