Highway Patrol Mustang paint jobs

Never did find out the 23 states and 4 Canadian providences that had Highway Patrol Mustangs. Other then the black body/white top and doors of California and Texas the only other paint job I can recall is Michigan's dark blue overall. Saw one Mustang from Flordia that was suprizingly all black, hard for me to believe since that state usually has some color to match the oranges and grapefruit grown in the state.

Also have never seen a Mustang in actual Highway Patrol use other then on TV.

What were the states and colors of the cars?

I've seen red & blue one's too, Im pretty sure they just take a used Mustang from either a drug bust or auction and just slap some stickers and equipment on it. I figured lots of states had em, not really sure on who did or didn't though.

Here in Wichita, KS we have 4 Z28's one red, one dark blue, one black and one white and 2 Mustangs one 98 that electric blue and the other is 2003 Sonic Blue. All of them have the hide away lights except one of the Z's has the lights on top

never seen any SN95 stangs as police cars, but when i was little i remeber seeing notchback foxes as police cars on the highway, don't remember the colors though

We had some SERIOUSLY modded 5.0's up by my place on I90. They were dark blue, with a Minnesota Highway Patrol badge on the passenger side door. After they retired them, they parted them out becuse they were "afraid" of citizens getting their hands on such powerful cars. LOL. I only saw them a couple times, but they were cool as hell.

Up here in Vancouver BC Canada we had 1 notch back 89-90 5.0L stang, All white. Its like a ghost car, Not very fast. Now they are running Z28's / chev Impala's S/C or dodge intrepids / infinitys G35's, I seen a nissan Maxium or altma 260-280 hp, Still they gotta have something to catch up with those high hp cars and trucks. The high speed chases up here in Canada they dont run you off the road like they do in US, If a high speed chase is too crazy they call it off for public safety. mostly in the city area's they will call off the chases, On the hwys it maybe diff cause they they got more of a chance to run you off the road.

We have two here... a white unmarked mustang and a blue mustang that has a sticker on each door...you cant see them until its too late!!

OH yeah I forgot, Wichita Police just got 3 unmarked 5.0 for the street races. they try to get you to run them then a marked PD Officer gets you. Nice huh
