Go with whatever sound good to you. However, I would agree that Magnaflow is one of the best mufflers out there. Do your homework before deciding on an X or H pipe. They have destinct sounds. Overall X pipes produce more top end HP. H-pipes produce more low end torque. I havent seen yet where one has a decisive advantage over the other as far as dyno numder are concerned. IMO emmisions legal exhaust is the way to go especially if you're under warranty. There is no significant difference as far as power gain when comparing pipes with cats to pipes without cats. The big difference is price.

If you want your car to sound good I suggest an off-road h-pipe with 2 chamber flowmasters or mac mufflers. Every car I've heard with magnaflows sounds like it has stock exhaust still. I wouldn't put them on my car just cause the name sounds gay. If you put an x-pipe on it you'll sound like a pissed off bumble bee flying around. Flowmasters +1000 Magnaflow-1000

I just bought MagnaPacks which is going to join my Hooker Ceramic Coated Long-Tube Headers with it's matching X-Pipe. From the clips I've heard and the posts that I've read MagaPacks are the way to go! I'll tell you once I install.

Jugadors problem is this, you are so incredibly bored that you are replying to posts that are well FINISHED and should only be brought back up from a SEARCH. There's no need to add any further information. It's done and over with, and there are new questions and new threads you should be responding to, not these old threads.

I have a 01 vert GT with a BBK X-pipe (off road) and a Mac cat back exhaust. I like the combination, but it is very loud between 2500-3000 rpm's. The mac exhaust does give my car a distinct souind versus the magnaflow and flowmasters out there. I get a million compliments on the sound. Though I do hear magnaflow is very good...
