I'm finished with the appearance mods that I wanted to do. Not to say that I won't do more in the future... So, here's some pictures for you to admire, praise, critisize, express your displeasure with, whatever... I've done the bra (okay, I know some of you don't like them), spinners, louvers, and rear blackout.
The camera is a Nikon D200 with a Nikon 28-70mm f/2.8 lens, BTW.
The bra looks nice, too bad they do not make anything like that for the cervinis front.. =(
Nice camera too, I use a D200 and a D100 with a variety of lenses, I would recommend buying (if you can find it) a 18-200 Nikkor VR lens.
Bras can be both good and bad. If your spends most of its time baking in the sun or in wet climates it is not that great of an idea. You need to make sure that you take it off when you wash the car so that you acn dry it and wash the car evenly since dirt will build up beneath it. But the plus side is protects against road tar, chips and debris so it varies. I have had to mask off the front of so many show cars when taking them to and from shows when a bra would have been great.
I have to say though I prefer the clear bras myself.
[sm=smiley20.gif]I like the orange and balck. Should do the Steeda black strip on the hood and black spoiler.
Thanks. Actually, I was thinking maybe paint the hood black and put black side stripes that say Mustang. But maybe later. I've already spent nearly $500 on this thing and I've only owned it a month. Gotta pay some bills and stuff like that... [:@]
Yo Bra. Yea, I think it looks better without the bra. Besides won't it jackup the paint?
I see your a fellow Texan. Let know if you upgrade the exhuast -- I want to get a GT muffler to put on my shiny new V6.
Howdy, neighbor! (That's what all the Yankees on here expect us to say.) I don't think I'll be upgrading the exhaust. Sounds plenty loud to me. What does the GT muffler do to a V6?
When I was trying to decide what bra to buy, I walked into a coworker's office and said, "Linda, this is going to sound like a strange question, but where did you buy your bra?" Yes, it will jack up the paint, but so will rocks, and this is my daily driver. I live in Lancaster and work in Carrollton, which as you know is a 30 mile commute one way. So I made the decision that the bra is permanent, because I know that after a while (soon, probably) it won't look good without it. But I like the way it looks with it, so it's not a problem.

Well, as I said above, I have decided to consider the bra a permanent part of the car since this is my daily driver. My last car had a really pinged up front after six years of commuting 30 miles each way.
The 18-200VR is a nice lens from all I've read, but my 28-70 f/2.8, also called "the beast", is a really nice lens, and I also have the 70-20 f/2.8 VR, which is one of Nikon's best lenses. I also have the 18-70 kit lens, and the Sigma 10-20. It would be nice to have a smaller lens to cover that much range, though. Oh, well, here we go with the camera talk on a Mustang forum.

Hey I like cameras they pay for my mustang =) but yea those are all great lenses, I have all the ones you mentioned except the 28-70 mine is a Sigma lens which I have been happy with. I also have a nice Sigma 80-400 which has the image stabalization in it and it is what I use for races and such, sometimes I use it with the sigma 2x converter which (tho they say it dosent) works with the autofocus quite nicely.
The reason I like my 18-200 is because it just works out great as an every day lens, I have the 2.8s because I do alot of indoor shows and lower light shooting. I had to send the D200 in though with the 18-200 for some calibrtion thing as Nikon called it, they did it for free but I didn't really understand all of it. What was nice was before I had to shoot a bit underexposed for it to get proper exposure but after I got it back it is all spiffy =)

If you took the picture of your Mustang, I can see why you make money at it. Great picture, and great looking car.
That Sigma 80-400 is sure a heck of a lot cheaper than the Nikkor 100-400. It's supposed to have slow AF. How does that work out with races? Does it have screwdriver focus? I have the Nikkor 70-300mm, and it's screwdriver focus. It is slower than the silent motor lenses, but I usually don't notice, so it doesn't seem to bother me. And like your Sigma, it's not supposed to AF with a 2X TC, but it does just fine with my Kenko.
I do a lot of low light stuff, too. All of it's volunteer, though. I'm the photographer for the musicals at a local college. My wife subs for me when I'm in the shows. She does very well if I set the camera to nearest object focus and P mode, LOL. Some of our pictures are at http://cvcfmt.org if you're interested. Look at some of the later ones which were taken with the D200. The first shows I have pictures of were taken with a Sony Mavica FD-7, which took 640 X 480 pictures on a floppy. But, hey, it was digital!
I had focus problems with my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 on the D200. I called Tamron, and they said they could calibrate it, but it probably wouldn't work on the D70 after that. I bought the Nikkon 28-70, and the Tamron stays on the D70 in the trunk of the Mustang just in case I "need" a camera.
Hey, maybe they ought to give us a Mustang photography forum here, LOL.
