I hear Svt is gunna be making the Focus turbocharged or sumthing. Like useing a mazda motor or something and its gunna be better competition for the SRT-4

Using the Mazda rotary RX-8 engine would do the job. It is very small, 239HP and a redline of 9K RPM.

Yea no torque compaired to an Srt-4. Those things have a really good amount of torque 245. That is what really makes them so fast.

Either way ive been in both and I know the truth. I like the contour more but the fucus is just faster sorry guys. I would rather have a contour over a focus too. I think that is whats blurring your vision here. I'm talking about performance lol I have rarely even seen a stock contour break into the 15s and even if it did the focus can do it with no problems

On my way to work this morning, a cute blonde lady with a shiny silver SVT Focus pulled up along side me. I was admiring her nice silver SVT wheels when I looked up and saw her checking me out also... Well, not me, my car. I gave her the ol' "let's run" nod, but she just smiled. I guess she didn't want to make my Dark Shadow Grey '03 Cobra look bad.

I have driven a contour SVT for 2 years now and I wouldnt trade it for the world. I Know it can beat a Focas SVT, because I have driven both. But I agree that it depends on who is driving the vehicles.
