find a set of gt-40s out of a junk yard and youll have a 250 buck good bolt on, but thats about it... Gears are going to be the cheapest real noticable bolt-on, you may be able to pick up a used set of 3.73s or 4.10s, but your going to have to install them for 250 bucks... You can also bump your timing and get a CIA for about 80 bucks, its not a slap your face difference but will make it have a little more getup and go...

Hard work + $250 will get you somewhere. ($ â‰* HP) Remove restrictive stuff, get an air filter, exhaust, ignition coil, & plugs. Maby an MSD box. All worth while upgrades. Cleaning and renewing is always worth a few HP.

That's not gonna help you go faster But I agree w/ the rest, just save the money until you can afford a NEW set of gears and an install. You'll also need an install kit and if you've got decent mileage on the car a traction lok rebuild kit. www.summitracing.com

If you want some fast, cheap , easy bolt ons, get yourself some under drive pullys, smog delete(shorter belt), electric fan(cheap one from summit, or bone yard), and a K&N filter...you could do all that for $250 bucks and I bet you will see a difference.
