Default a couple of problems...

the other day my voltage was dropping like crazy and my tach would whipp up to like 4k real quick and the car felt like it was going to die if i wasnt giving it gas. and now today it stopped but my iddle was at like 600. is it the altenator?

and also i havent been driving my lx hatch for a long time and ive been letting my girlfriend driving it to work while i drive the toyota and i am pretty sure my back shocks are shot. when i push on the back of the car it does like 4 or so bounces and driving down the freeway is like driving a god damn gallopping pony head bouncing around. is this bad? will it harm anything if i continue driving it till i get it fixed? and how the hell do shocks just go out? i also noticed a curb rub on my mint condition rims!!!
