Wow, big block in fox body = tight fit. But, big block in fox body also = fast car. I've never done it so I can't offer any advice in the technical department, except to say you'll need stiffer springs in the front to support the added weight of the 429. Good luck with your swap, and welcome to the boards!

Find a C-4 with a Big block bellhousing, or get a c6 and be prepared to do alot of hammering on your firewall. You will also need conversion motor mounts, headers and oil pan... not to mention alot of small misc stuff. Good luck with it.
they have a 460 kit it may work for you...engine mount will be the hard part as for then trans mount shouldn't be a problem....you need to use an electric fan and at least a 2 core big tube alum rad...I would set the engine low and set back as far as possible to help out the wt. distribrution as the set back will help with handle as your adding some wt. the the front
Im sure it iwl fit, I dont want to go bangin on s**t though. This is my dad's car though, his little project ya know? So I'm wondering does anyone know of a website I can go to and get the information adn special mounts for the 460...

I got mine from the ford dealer when I did my 460 project. About 180 bucks and I also got my oil pan there. As far as the headers go, they're gonna run 400 bucks so be prepared.
