you made the right chioce...put some heat wrap on the other ones and it will be close to the same hp not to mention a cooler engine bay

How does wrap increase hp? Just by lowering the engine bay temps?

no by keeping the heat in the pipes the air speeds up or out ...

Dude, just take a day during the weekend. Sure, it may take longer to install...but seriously, the added horses and torque's worth it! How often do you sit there and swap out headers/heads anyway? I bet it's not that often.

Header wrap works by keeping the heat inside of the exhaust pipe, which increases the exhause VELOCITY and therefore scavanging effects.

Just a couple more hours for more hp/ft lbs..........

Long tubes are good for upper RPM ponies. Shorties are good for torque..which our GT's could use alittle more of.

I'm considering swapping my joke design Ford Racing headers for something better. Would my Magnaflow exhaust hook up without modification?

as long as it for shorty headers..only flaw in ford heads are the lil exhaust ports...well....I could keep on that one

jeep didn't I say that?*L*

They're good for low end torque, high end gains, and mid range speed up. Hell, Bassani mid-lengths get up to 25ish hp/ft lbs over Mac shorties.....imagine long tubes....

And yes vfast.....but hey, I didn't see your post untill I typed out mine.

Yeah, i meant to say the most significant gain in the powerband, heh I didn't go into specifics because I didn't have time at the moment ;)
