Sup fellow stang owners. 01 Zinc Yellow Cobra here. Lewisville Texas location

here. Need some help, im in a dilemma. I have a feeling that i need to sell the 01

for a 03 due to the iron block. Im afraid to keep the 01 and super charge or turbo charge it and have potential problems due to the aluminum block. Does anyone have any suggestions. Would it be ok to keep the 01 and go forced induction and forget about buying the new one. Thanks for any help.

Im not aware of any strength differences in an iron vs aluminum block, as far as I know, the generalization is the same... Aluminum blocks save weight but are more prone to warping from being overheated.

welcome to the forum.  keep it cool and you can load up on the aluminum block.. watch for compression rates when applying boost.. tripsevn737877.2825115741
