Convertible top cylinder removal
 

I am trying to remove the passenger side convertible top cylinder...I got the big T-pin out of the top and the line unbolted but the cylinder is still hanging up in there...is there something else that holds it in?....thanks ahead of time....

I'm new here, but working on my '85 5.0 LX convertible top cylinders right now. THere should be just one more bolt that holds a bracket with a pivet pin on it that kind of pinches the cylinder at the top of the cylinder, then the whole thing comes out and you can remove the lines from there easily.

There is a convertible manual available for mustangs that is very helpful.
