Default 05 4.6 GT Stang VS. 2001 Audi S4 Stage 2

Just wanted to know what I got my self into. I made a bet with one of my co-workers for $200 dollars.

I have a new 05 Mustang GT 4.6l Stock.

VS.

He has a 2001 Audi S4. stage 2. 318hp 360lbs/torque. Downpipes, catback, intake, and he will be running 100octane

We will also do some runs with him on 91 octane. But I made the bet with him on 100octane What do you guys think??

What is he running on the S4 to need 100 octane. I wouldn't run 100 octane unless I was pushing some serious boost or needed something to fend off detonation. 100 octane is harder to burn and wouldn't be advantagous to a stock motor. Actually I belive you would lose power and possibly damage the motor. Better have him pop his hood and find out what all he has in case you need to got out and find a bottle. I just don't see the need for 100 octane on a stage 2 audi unless he plans to crank up the boost. Overall I'm thinking you'll lose your money with him running just 91.

He has programed ECU that runs higher boot than stock .... Thats what Stage 2 means i guess... His car has three programs Stock(stock boost) , then he has Chiped mode (higher boost), Then he has Race Mode which lets his car run 100 octane with out damaging it. So yes he is running higher boost

i forgot to mention we are both automatic transmission, will it make a diffrence with that, because i know since he is automatic he is slower than a 6 speed audi.... If i do lose, i would like to re-match him, will i be able to take him with just a re-flash program on my GT, or what would i need to take him , other than charging my GT or n02ing it?

You better install a CAI, UDP's, CMCV Delete Plates and a tune real quick. hell I would even buy a off road x.

Then you will have a chance as you will run low 13's with that to high 12's depending on conditions
