Lol at these stories, but here's mine:

Before I bought my 01 gt I drove my friend's 00 Gt (the whole reason why I purchased mine), and I've succesfully beat Wrx's, ricers and older model gt's right, so on a Saturday night a red, maybe 94 civic hatch back, lines next to me on the light. This dude just looked at me like If I was nothing. I reved the loud ass engine and so does he- We're on! I ofcourse, take off before him and while powershifting to second, I see this SOB just grinning, slowly passing me up(I was at WOT) and thought, "damn!" He put about a car and 1/2 lenght on me. When we stopped at the light he told me he had a  turbo'd GSR engine, completely, I mean completely stripped. No rear seat no NOTHING in the back but the frame of the car. I was embarrassed cause it was a civic, but he said that I did better than others.. . I told him he was still a ricer to me and took off! Yes, I know, sore loser, but I was pissed!

It's still bad to this day! Thank God I haven't seen him (My car is still stock, but for LONG).

Yhea you're right..

But you know what man, I have a 01 Gt that I'm also thinking of stripping some. It's not my daily driver .. I just created a post on stripping my car. Would you know anything about that? I've heard of the rear-seat delete and other stuff. I'd appreciate if you posted in " ** Stripping my 01 Gt** located in General mustang topics.

Thanks again, and yes I'm going either tomorrow or Saturday to add The Off road Xpipe with Magnaflow mufflers. I'm adding the 4.10 gears w/autologic chip. Pulley's are going to be added as well!...

Before I bought my 03 GT i had never had access to a manual so i was brand new.  So here I am like yea I am a bad ass I have a mustang GT now.  So I get off I-275 and hit a red light.  Some older Camaro pulls up and he is given me the eye so I am like ok this will eb easy, his car is about to fall apart.  Green light, I stalled and he took off, he was quick anyway I think he would have waxed me anyways.  I learned a couple of things at that moment, I was stupid to think i was a bad ass lol and that i really needed to learn how to drive my car and break it in before redlining it anyway.

It was emabarassing

I got smoked by a stock looking 93 golf 3 door.. felt better when i found out he had no interior, a 5 spd and a turbocharged VR6.  Saving up for a supercharger after that one. lol
