Default 7.5 to 8.8 rear swap...

Hello All,
Wondering if anyone gone with 8.8 swap, I read the "How to" section, but has anyone successfully done the swap and if so any do or don'ts on the swap? I appreciate everybodys input on the excellent forum...........[sm=gears.gif]

I've done it, I got my 8.8 here:

And you will need the ford flange for the 8.8 rear end, part number is E9TZ-4851-A.

fyi: about the same price, you can add a good preformance LSD and girdle to your rear end and have it be bullitproof your decision

u cant bulletproof a 8.8 nevermind a 7.5

do 30+ wheelstands on a 7.5 with a 3500 lb car, its goin to break before then.

Still working on it man, car is running and a baseline dyno performed. We are looking into some other modifications to tweak the performance as I'm in no hurry. LOL.

IMO, 400+ HP is bullit proof, its more then what 90% of the people on here will run
