bolt on 4.6 vs bolt on ls1

ok guys, here is a quick race of me and my buddy, i have heard a lot of discussion comparing f-bodies to mustangs lately and which car you get the most out of for the money.

here is the info about the 2 cars

02 stang gt 5 speed
offroad h pipe, mac cat back.
leather interior, fully loaded stang, with 70k something miles
purchase price, 10,900 i think

99 Firebird formula 6 speed
full exhaust, lid
leather, fully loaded (other than ws6 option) bought with 24k miles
purchase price of 12k

i just want to see your guys opinions on this debate

by the way, im not anti mustang in anyway, ive owned an 86 gt, and love mustangs. so dont think im flaming them in anyway. i just wanted to see how mustang guys look at this, because some ls1 guys get there panties in a bunch when somebody says something about a mustang being better than an f-body, nd i know there are the anti gm guys here too.

pretty cocky i'd say...we all know or should admit an ls1 will beat a mod engine stang...nothing to debate here...

I think I heard a little too much exhaust note through second and then it quieted down half through third. He was running at least 100 shot.
And yes it pulled a little too hard for an exhaust and holes cut in the lid.

they are fast not that fast he was on the spray we need to start racing LS1 cars spray the piss out of are cars and say we had some bolt ons and make the f body cars look slow as **** camaro/trans am/ vett guys are for the most part liein dicks

Thats bs that formula was sprayn b/c I raced a bolton ls1 camaro 6spd when I had my bolt on 00 gt, nwe went from a 20 and it took him through the mid of 3rd to get a .5 car on me

6spd LS1 stock is capable of a 12.9. A 5 spd 4.6 gt is capable of a 14.0. So the modded gt is capable of a 13.8ish, and the modded LS1 is capable of 12.6 ish. Am i missing something why u guys dont think this is possible? Remember all the gt has is an O/R H and a catback. This is very possible as when I race 6spd LS1s i usually see similar results.

thats why everyone and there mom has a mustang, right?

no, i wasnt spraying, my buddy posts on here that i raced, maybe he will chime in, i did put a 150shot on it after that but that would be even more brutal.

i just have been hearing a lot of talk about comparing the ls1 vs the modular mustang, sorry if i pissed a coule of you guys off

there arent "holes" in the lid, llol. i dont know where you got that from.
its an slp lid.
