2008 Schedule and rules change.
 

Alright, while this year (2006) went great for our rotm program, we decided to revamp it in order to make things easier, and more fair for everyone. 2007 rotm will be based on body styles, along with a few special categories, and will run from January to October. November and December will be set aside for our ride of the year program. The ROTY winner will get a custom user title, and will have the honor of being the first ever MF Ride of the Year.

Now, for the schedule!

February-S197s (all 2005+)
March-New Egde (all 1999-2004 Ford models, no saleen, roush, or shinoda...SVT cars are elgible)
April-sn95s (1994-1998 Ford models, no saleen, roush, or shinoda...SVT cars are elgible)
May-Fox Bodies (1979-1993 Ford models, no saleen, roush, or shinoda...SVT cars are elgible)
June-Classics (1964-1978, any model)
July- Saleen/Roush/Shinoda (Saleen, Roush, and 94+ Shinoda)
August-Ladies Month (Any mustang)
September-V6 Month(any 6 cylinder powered mustang, including Roush and Shinoda)
October- 4 Banger Month (any 4 cylinder mustang, 1974-1993)
November-Convertible Month (1964-1973, 1983-present)
December ROTY awarded!

Since there is the chance for a single person to win more than one month, once a car wins, it cannot win again in that calendar year. Due to some complaints last year over sponsored vehicles not giving other members a chance, we no longer can accept nominations of shop cars belonging to our vendors. We apologize for any inconvenience, but some members cannot stand a chance in the contest when pitted against shop owned and modified cars.

Ok, another great year for the ROTM contest here at MF! This year, our first ever Ride of the Year winner was LCC, with his awesome 68 Fastback!!!

For 2008, we are going to use a similar schedule, but instead of having it start in January, to be fair to the first month, I will be shifting everything back a month, so starting in February, we will have a full ROTM schedule, starting with the S197 crowd again. I am going to add another rule...due to the size of this site and the popularity of the ROTM program, I am going to announce that the same car cannot win twice, so once you win with a given car, that car is no longer eligible, but that only applies to winners starting in 2007.
