nobody has broke 220rwhp with just bolt ons, if im not mistaken, 215rwhp is actually the highest someone has hit.

i hit 214rwhp on an agressive tune, but minus my PHP pulley. the tune i drive on is 211rwhp (again, minus the PHP pulley).

so 250rwhp with just boltons is definately out of the question.

also denny, lots of errors in your post.

pistons/rods/etc are not boltons.

OHC engines do not have lifters.

even with higher CR pistons, completely built motor, heads, cams, full bolt ones, im sure our out of date pushrod converted 4.0's are going to top out around 260-270rwhp (dont get me wrong, thats a lot for a v6, but youd be lookin at probably 7 or 8 grand to get there)

I've seen that. It is a great deal for about 1000.00
Almost 40hp for a grand, no bad.

Thanks for clearing up the lifters & bolt-ons.
So when you do work inside the motor what do you call that, motor mods?

What is the cheapest way to take a stock 2007 v6 to 225 rwhp? I have manual transmission so I lose about 15% of my power at the flywheel to what it actually puts down. If my calculations are correct that would mean I am putting down about 178.5 rwhp. 210 x 0.85 = 178.5

like already said your not going to get to 225 on boltons....210 is about it for some reason
go with the 75 shot zex...
and you should be 180-185 stock on a manual.....
