Teksid block(96-99 cobras and lincoln mark VIII) , 03-04 cobra block? those should be good to around 900-1000hp. I'd point you to a good site where you could get some no B.S info on buildng a stout short but the mods would sensor it here.

Actually, the OEM aluminum block is good to 800 HP no problem. The trouble is the stock rods, pistons, and crank aren't up to it.
If you're looking for 800 HP or less, I'd stick with the aluminum block for the weight savings and becasue you don't need any funky adapters to bolt it into the car.
You might ask the big mod-motor builders like JDM, Fox Lake, Livernois, etc.

Thats what I was thinking but you know how it is other opinions never hurt. Before it blew yesterday it was making 500.3 rwhp and the factory componets finaly gave way. Guess its time to spend some real money.

Come on ebr - what were you using to get 500 RWHP, brand, PSI and who's tune - there are a bunch of us on here that are warily awaitting your reply -[:-] - LOL!!!

Dont think it would really matter what or who's poweradder/tune 450+ rwhp on the stock internals is already a asking for a disaster. So he was really pushing them @ 500hp. A better question is for how long have you been pushing that hp?
