Doesn't it piss you off when you see people driving around in a 'vert with the top down and all the windows up? I'm like hey jack@ss it's 40 degrees out, put the top up and crack the window you dum@ss... sorry just had to vent, that really chaps my @ss!
I think it looks even dumber when guys drive around with their door glass down but have the little rear 1/4 windows up. Now THAT just looks nucking futs
Well to defend driving with windows up First off the stereo sounds much better In places where speed limits are 55mph for a few miles before it's 35 or less again much easier and quicker to put up the windows instead of putting up the top. Some of us don't have the fortune to live where 70 degrees is a cool night! Hell here in Alaska 70 degrees is a hot summer day!
Now all that being said I do not drive around with the windows up all the time, but there are time to time that I do.

Rookie.
Damn man, you gotta be a vert person to own one all the way up there. I put mine up if I get a call. Otherwise you can't here a thing. Other then that they are always down.
Huh? LOL rookie my A$$. I'd guess I sold my first car before you were poopin yellow!

fyi We are the 3rd owners of our current '67 GTA and my very first car was a '67 Mustang coupe and that car was about 13 years old back then so hmm I've aged some since then. I guess my first stang was about 35 year ago. So you were not poopin yellow Sorry! 05SDI

You have both owned stangs for about 10 years longer then i have been alive.
And that's what's cool. All ages can enjoy the same things!

not only is it stupid, but theres no support for them when they are all the way up, so if you go fast enough, over time they will slightly warp from the preasure of the air
even if im doing over 100 the windows are down witht the top, only time the windows are up is when my phone rings, or if its below 40 and im on the highway for a brief minute

Holly crap man, that is insane. I would have to have enough clothes on to look like the Michelin man before I would have the top down when the first number in the temp is a 3. I have been know to put it down when it gets back about 50 in the spring, but thats about it.
Actually, 40 is a wee bit too cold for me, but say low 50's with the top down, windows up and the heat full blast is nice and toasty.
I find that wearing a pullover sweatshirt with a hood helps a lot because the air tends to come around and hit me in the back of the neck. The heat tends to get inside the hood and makes for a toasty ride as well!
Hey, I'm in NY so I have to make the most of my top down days even if it means windows up.
BTW the windows are pretty well supported by the channel on the cowl and the rubber between the back and front windows. At 100mph though I would start to worry a bit.....
Anything above 60 degrees or so and it's all windows down!!!
I've tinted my windows so, having them UP with the top down looks even more dorky lol. However I have done it a couple times, especially when trying to impress a hot chick passenger on a cool evening drive

I think we can make an exception in the man law for this one.
I really don't care how people ride in their vert, I just think it looks goofy personally, but it is better then not driving a vert.
