I've tinted my windows so, having them UP with the top down looks even more dorky lol. However I have done it a couple times, especially when trying to impress a hot chick passenger on a cool evening drive

Doesn't it piss you off when you see people driving around in a 'vert with the top down and all the windows up?

You must lead an interesting life to get upset about something like that.yea you got me, i'm a total looser cause i have an itch for people being jackasses

I often drive with the top down and windows up. There are several reasons for it. such as you have no balls

1. It cuts back the sounds of traffic, like when driving next to a semi, a truck with mud tires, and other noisy things.i suppose your 6 banger exhaust is too loud too

2. It makes it easier to keep the interior temperature where I want it (hot or cold).again no balls, does it mess your hair up too, girls are the same way

3. It lets the sun in much better than with the top up and the windows down. if the suns out and warrants the windows down chances are its warm enough to have the top down, hate those tan lines huh?

And that comment about the windows warping from the practice is pure fantasy. They won't be damaged from the practice. i agree, but "the practice" what are you some kind of intellect

I keep my top down absolutely as much as possible, but I'll put the windows up or down as the circumstances dictate. bet ya have a whole hand full of wrinkes in it when it is up, huh

I think it looks even dumber when guys drive around with their door glass down but have the little rear 1/4 windows up. Now THAT just looks nucking futs

normally on the fords the motors are bad is the reason people leave them up the plastic bushing are shot and just click

That is like a $8 and 10 min fix.  Just takes a couple tools as well.

Yeah, the motors are a little more the $10.  But easier to install

the motors?  would you say that for all years? or just certain ones, like on the fox platform maybe (79-04)?

V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you''''''''re fast.

The only time I ride w/ any window up is when I can't find the G****MN $10 nylon gear to fix my F*****G quarter window for the past two+ weeks!

Here's an uncensored update - complete (supposedly) gear rebuild set for $20+s&h from

http://www.lighthills.com/

Maybe I'm just trying to rush the warm spring weather, but I drive with the top down if the temp is above 50 degrees and the sun is shining while wearing a skull cap and sweater.
