HOW MUCH IS THIS 84 GT350 WORTH???

I need a bit of help here. I know someone selling an 84 GT Anniversary car with 17000 original miles on it. They are the original owner of the car. The car is a hardtop and has always been in a garage. It is basically stock with a couple of minor mods like a short throw shifter and wheels. It is a 302/5 speed car. I have actually seen some ads with people selling these cars with over twice as much mileage for over $10k, I couldnt believe it. Is that realistic? He said it still smells new inside!
