It depends. If I want to go fast, I prefer the Mach. If I want to cruise, I prefer the 65. I have the best of both worlds I think.

I started referring to it as DT for short several years ago because someone took offense and mentioned they had a friend who actually did die in a mustang...so I don't use the full name too often anymore ;)

Rusty (because of its color, burnt amber, not rust) the mustystang. Its sort of that new to me used car smell.

Right now the name is Rust Bucket because there is more rusty metal than not! As the work progresses so will the name.

My dad bought the Mustang in '81, when it sat in a field...on the spot between the tail lights it said "BAD DUDE". My uncle who lives a couple of towns from where the car was bought, says if you talk to people and refer to "BAD DUDE" they still will remember. No doubt that it had its share of street races back in the day.

I pick names based on my own nicknames. The '71 is Thunder. The '65 is The Diamond Bull. They don't get names until they're drivers and I know they will be around a long, long time. I haven't put a name to my '03 for that reason.
