Camaro SS.... Killed

Pulled up to a light last night and I see a car pull up behind me right on my a**, I moved forward a little to see what kind of car it is and noticed it was a camaro.... wait back up... i'm at a light turning onto the feeder road and then getting onto the highway (just some background info)... anyways, so light changes and I turned, shifted to 2nd and got on it to see if he'd wanna go, sure enough he was right behind me. So I get onto the interstate and shift to 3rd and wait for him to pull up next to me. He pulls up next to me and we both took off and I didn't even see him again, right when I got on it he just slowly disapeared into the background of my rear view mirror....... so a couple minutes later i'm just driving down the interstate and he pulls up next to me again and to my suprise it was an SS... I thought they were fast??? So I down shift to 3rd again and wait for him to go to give him the advantage, and as soon as I heard his exhaust, which happened to be pretty loud, I took off and once again just slaughtered him... he tried to pull up next to me again but I had to exit.... Super excited about beatin him

just a little suprised I beat him that bad, I thought they were pretty fast!

Well GM made LT-1 SS Camaros in '96-'97(the '96s have the 4 small headlights, '97s look like later SSs). They had, I believe 300hp, you have 300rwhp, maybe this is the reason you won so easily. (although the GM guys cruising on this forum will claim driver error I'm sure). Good Kill! Keep the Blue Oval flag waving!

hah yeah ... Driver error.... hmm must have been a really bad driver to mess up about 3 times in a row... ?? I don't think it was driver error

My buddy has one at college has one and hes quick but idk how quick i havnt raced him ... he told me it was around 315 and all he has is exhaust so idk ..... and he also told me that the exhaust moved him up to about 350 sooo .... im thinking he likes to talk a lot .... but they are 6 speeds

That is a stock LT1, I doubt there are many, if any that aren't modded a little.

This was at night, but if I had to guess I'd say it'd be the 98-02 one... it was a black convertable... and I believe it looked more like the first camaro you have up there
