Default 347 stroker

OK, I just bought this car with a 347 stroker and I am a little confused about what exactly that means. I have a list of mods made by the last guy and this is what I an confused about. It says I have a sportsman 302 block but its a 347 stroker. Is the block just bored out or do I have incorect information or what? I know the stroker kit increase lift and all that but I need to know how I went from a 302 to a stroked 347.

347 is your displacement=cubic inches.

A 347 is a 302 block bored over .030 and then it uses a different crank and longer rods (3.40" as opposed to 3" on a stock 302 or 3.25 on a 331). ...sounds like a nice motor/block. What's the rest of your combo?

He said sportsman. The ford sportsman block is rated at 450hp. And I doubt he ment dart sportsman, because he would have said dart.
