Don't forget it's better to look good than to feel good! That price includes all you need to build the CS6. Also if you ship your car to Shelby in LV they will complete the work for you for a few bucks more.

I'd EXPECT a deatiled parts list before clicking "Add to cart" on a $14,000+ order wouldn't you???

Not smart on their part...

all I'm saying is the CS6 (if I'm not mistaken) is a shelby supercharged version of our v6...so for 14K t better include EVERYTHING!

That's like buying a new car!!! The best deal on our car I saw has been 17K... so you're almost buying another mustang!!!

anyways...I don't know why I'm even saying anything ...I guess I'm just bitter cuz I don't have any money...

Rogue I was also wondering how did you to attach the Shelby lettering to the grill I 'm not going to put mine on the car yet but my kit didn't include anything to use did yours. Also curious about the front turn signals on your car what did you use to black them out?

Rogue and Ant.... BIG TIME respect to you both on installing your CS6 grille. I have mine lying in wait for a free day for me to work on it. Biggest question...How?.... oh how did you manage in getting your stock grille off? I tried prying and poking the plastic retainers to no avail.....and fear that my rage will make me pull the whole front fascia off.....help yee brethren in 'stangs.

That grill looks pretty busy. Still cool though.

Just be patcient I just used a big Screwdriver to push the retaining tabs back over the clips. Sorry I can't help more but it's no trick just be patient and careful. Rougue posted a link in this thread for directions I'd definately grab those.

Ant

Ant69- Sorry for the delay I've been working. Anyway to attach the lettering, Shelby suggests to use barrel nuts, how, I don't know, the backs of each letter have no threads and the grille didn't come with anything. That's why I used superglue, lol, and I haven't had any problems. Maybe you can figure something else out like using some retaining rings or clips. I bought the blacked out turn signals on eBay, they came with the headlights.
crocojay- The trick is getting the top clips off is by using a flat head screw driver then work your way on each side, round to the inside. For the ones on the bottom I just got impatient and pulled the grill off. I had no damage to anything and the new grille fits in fine and has no play with it.
StangNeWbieDJB- The whole CS6 kit includes everything appearance and performance plus the dash plague. If you add up all the parts of the kit I think it comes in just over that price.

Rougue, are those the GTS head light covers? I didn't notice the turn signals, are they covers or new lenses.

I talked to Jason, he said that the bumper has to be fitted to the car, in other words no holes are drilled, it makes for a better fit.

That must be the fix they came up with for the fitment problems they were having. Every piece is going to be a custom fit. Sounds lioke a trip to the body shop is in order, or in my case a trip to "Julio the Mexican" ("No letters please that's what he call himself") Any time frame on the install?

I hope to have it in my hands by Christmas and on by the 2nd week of Jan... at the latest. Let’s go Santa! I like the Idea of the twincharger too. I would like to put the turbocharger in front of the rear wheel well and make the side scoop functional. But not while its a daily driver.

Ant, Rogue and any other CS6 kit installation gurus out there
the PIAA harness installation instruction sheet advises to hook up the switch power wire (white one with red dots) to a power source with the provided connector (apparently the one that is only powered when the hi-beam is on).........2 BIG questions:
1. What wire should I splice? and anyone have the pics or a good description?
2. Did anyone thread the switch LED into the car itself or did you just secure it under the hood in the ON position?...if you did thread it...how flipping how?

I made it easy on myself. I have the pony package and just cut the wires for the pony package lights right b4 the connectors and spliced in the new connectors for the PIAA lights, they work great.  If you do that, just make sure that you splice the black wire to the black wire(grounds), and the remaining wires together. Sorry I didn't use the wiring harness supplied with the lights.
