I wouldn't say "Defects", like I said it looks great now that it's in, exactly like I hoped it would. Just little things like no mounting hardware, other than the eight machine scews for mounting the lights themselves. The lack of an instruction sheet the unfinished angle brackets. (Mine were pretty bad and still had shear marks, burrs and bad bends.) The rubber trim for the fogs was too short and gapped when the light was installed, and a few other silly things like that. I guess I was just expecting more from a legendary name. (Oddly enough the letters incuded were finished quite well in comparison I left mine off for now)

I was wondering are you completing the whole CS kit eventually?

Very nice I love that kit! I was leaning towards the Cervini Eleanor kit But I saw the Shelby and now i want to mix and match I saw an extended hood kit that I also like. So I'm now I'm on this Shebly front facia Eleanor Exhaust and extended hood and eyebrow but we'll see. I have to wait for the new baby though, (actually a new Baby girl due in March not a car.) a deal I made with my wife.

I'm already practicing no curb bump parking! Hard to get used to my other rigs are both 4X4's.

I think the headlights and grille look great, and I hope to get the grille (minus the Shelby lettering) and horizontally arranged halo headlights (Link) fairly soon. (As well as My TwinCharger system)

You can avoid bumping your chin spoiler/front facsia if you back into parking spots. This will be necessary for me, I always bump my front tires on the parking blocks when I park. That won't be an option now that I have a spoiler on the front.

Rogue24 - your car looks awesome with that grill. I liked it so much, I just ordered that combo last night. I have the Kaenan '67 shelby hood on the car right now.

JSK- I’m glad to hear that, but some words of advice, just be patient. I have to say the wait was worth it.

Ditto! It's definately worth the wait. Take advantage of Rogues instruction link if you haven't seen the finished product installed up close. It's not hard to figure out but why spend the brain cells if you don't have too.

In the spring I plan to get the X-Charger, and in mid summer, a turbo to feed it. That way I get the torque of the X and the HP of a turbo. A little pricey, but it will make for a 'stang with excellent street AND track performance.

Nice good luck on the build, I'm looking forward to seeing the set up and the numbers. How are you running the turbo? Remote mount like STS? It would leave plenty of room for the supercharger.

I have no definite plans for the turbo, just that it'll need to be a custom job, and hopefully I can shove an intercooler in there too. I'm expecting some pretty fun numbers down low as well as at redline.

Ant69- I haven't heard anything new from Hillbank regarding the front bumper. I have to say I was satisfied with the quality of my grille it had no defects, I had to modify the PIAA light brackets a bit to get the proper angles. I was a little disappointed on how much work had to be done for the price I paid. I didn't receive any instructions with the grille but I emailed Hillbank and posted on the Shelby forum and got immediate responses from both. Here is a link to get the instructions. http://forum.shelbyautos.com/index.php?showtopic=295

Get ready to spend some time in the garage! I talk to Hillbank today and the Front Facias have begun to ship! Apparentlythey are about a month to a month and a half out on the back orders. Keep us informed!

Ant

Is Hillbank shipping or is Shelby? I talked to Jason yesterday and he said that Shelby was filling their pre-orders before they where sending Hillbank any. I'm #5 on Hillbank's list, I'll let you know if I get the call that it shipped.

Called Hillbank and talked to Jason on ordering CS6 parts, since I live here in Vegas , I can order the parts and I can pick it up locally when it's ready. he told me that about 2 weeks. So I am thinking ordering the front bumper and the hood and pick it up locally, save me some shipping cost.

Unless Jason was feeding me a line to make a sale he said back orders are shipping and delivery time was about a month out so I should I should get on the list quick. Doesn't help much right now, because of the deal with my wife to wait until after the baby is born to make any substantial improvements. I'm thinking of doing a couple of small interior or electriconic upgrades until after the baby is born then I'll probably add a few performance mods so I can show the car with the hood up and avoid the cost of a paint job until next winter.
