On my 94 GT, it came with the 16x7.5 Pony Wheels. Currently, the car has 245/50/16s all around. Looking at the front, I wouldn't go any wider. I mean, it' at the edge. So, the offsett of this rim plus 245 mm is the limit on the front. Of course, the back has plenty of room for more width.
I'm asking because I'm looking for new wheels. All of your posts have been very helpful, many thanks to all of you. I'm learning a ton.
The goal with new wheels and tires = Fill the wheel well (one word or two?) out completely without rubbing when I turn and bottoming out when I go over bumps. There will be a significant suspension upgrade AFTER I get my new wheels and tires.
BTW, I'm building a car for cornering.
Thanks for your help!!!

p.s. I'll get a picture of my car uploaded tomorrow. It's dark out right now!
