I just put snow tires on my stock Bullit-style wheels (these are now my winter wheels). I have a separate set of summer wheels & tires (18" Saleens), so I am left with a set of new(-ish) 245/45/17 tires. I know they came off the 17X8 wheel, but my question is how wide a wheel will this size tire fit on? I may use these tires for my '88 Trans Am GTA, but most of the aftermarket T/A wheels are 17X9.5. I don't need a third set of Mustang wheels, and although I wouldn't mind selling them, I don't feel like dealing with the packaging and shipping hassles (leaving only local Long Island buyers heading into winter).
