Back on to the PJ topic at hand.....

This is a pic from last year's SEMA showing the PJ in all her glory.  It was displayed next to the actual PJ transam 1970 car.

What do you think about the 'lowered to the weeds' look?  I like, although I know it would be impractical.

I prefer "dumped to the weeds" but a car CANNOT be too low appearance wise, but this car is too low for the street.

Naw,

This is just how Saleen showed the preproduction cars.  The stock PJ is low enough to perform well.  I did look into what Saleen did to get this look and they basically did away with the springs and dropped it.  No workable watt's link or anything with this look, so I don't think anyone will try this.

If you DO decide to go this low with yours, be sure to buy an extra front clip or two for when you hit a bump or go over a railroad crossing.

I love the stock ride height, as it sits I have to be careful going in and out of my driveway.
Here's a few new pics!!

Okay,

Since this is a PJ thread and most of us have PJ cars, how come USMC's PJ looks better than my PJ?...lol
I guess what we need, are photos of the best looking car, the PJ, up against the best looking or most different back grounds.

My PJ with, I don't know, say the Astrodome or the NASA sign or at a car show or meet...something cool.

No offence...I have the same car as 499 other people and I'm involved in a PJ thread...hello? Where are the other cars located? Cool backgrounds, signs, moutains, the PCH, sunsets... be creative!

I don't have a photo, but the story of going to Dallas for the car show ...a $65,000 car, being pulled by a $50,000
truck...on a $65.00 U-Haul car hauler...you get the picture?  Stuff like that...

Just a thought...Eric

BTW...USMC, nice, quality photos of you car! One question, is it a California thing or just the shadows... can't see the exhaust tip on the drivers side. Just wondering.

Well, not going to get to dyno today.  Thursdays are my day off and my buddy (dyno owner) is too swamped for an impromptu PJ dyno session.  Maybe next week...

Here it is!!!

WTG Pace on the show... I showed mine at the Mustang Nationals 8 months earlier and got squat! heheh

Anyways, I think I understand all the hubub about dyno numbers after going to the grabberorange site.  That's what started alot of the discussion about PJ dyno numbers, etc...

I'm thinking after a few months I'm going to look into getting me some dyno time, followed by some JDM mods.  Does anybody know if the new 302 Extreme motor is the same thing as the PJ motor but with the supercharger add-ons?  I'd be interested in knowing if I could throw on a blower and tune and get 600+ at the crank!  HP is addictive.

I really love the look of the PJ but the rear end is not doing it for me...it definite needs a new rear fascia and something needs done to the taillights...looks like a v6 rear end minus the exhaust...

I disagree,  think the pictures that USMC posted really show the lines of this car. It is entirely  a differnt car then what the majority of us own here so it should look different. I would not change a thing on it.

just my 2 cents.

Maybe he's tired of that particular view of the car...I wouldn't mind showing mine.
