I'm glad you found our corner of the mustang forum world!
Hope you guys stick around and post up. I've been on a few other Mustang sites and I enjoy this one the most. You'll find the people are friendly, informative, and have a genuine interest in your ride rather than the 'mine is better than yours' mentality on some sites.
This is the Saleen place to be and it's about time we got some more PJ representation around here. I know they were tiring of my endless drone!!
They don't let me out much, so not many Mustang friends let alone Saleen pals. We'll work on it though.
Amy asked for a story...here's one just today:
We do drive ours...some. We have had fun in the 400 or so miles since the purchase of our PJ. Anyway, it's my beautiful wife, that is the "Animal".
We went shopping, the long way round, and she absolutly destroyed a Firebird, that some youngster was driving. He was all "ghetto" down in his seat, at the light. We pulled up and got his attention quick. He sat up, did the "power brake" thing and winked... That's all it took. My Beauty is like a "Pit Bull" and all I said was, "Sic'em". She did... She hit the rev-limit in 1st, 2nd gear scratch, and by 3rd, all he saw, were tail lights all the way. By 4th she had hit 120 and I started cutting "button holes" in my seat and kindly asked if she could keep it under 70, the rest of the way home.
Guys, if you don't think girls can drive...you haven't come across my Sweetie. If you're ever in the Conroe/Houston area, and happen to see a "Blondie" driving a PJ...don't say I didn't warn you!

I live in Sugar Land, well at least for today and tomorrow, then I am off to San Diego! I hope I see her driving real soon. Is she ever in the SW part of Houston?

No Bud...Like I said before, the "Trailer Queen" doesn't get out too much. Sugarland is just a bit far for us. Besides, you don't want to play with your 3V... we wouldn't be any contest! lol
Headed for San Diego? That's my Hometown...born there and raised in Newport Beach. Had too much fun in the heat and humidity here, huh? Going for vacation or job change? Which ever...have a good one!
IDK! Im pushing only around 30 less horses than you to the engine, I wouldnt say no contest, plus I am quite lean! Anyways have a good one, and enjoy your beautiful car Eric!

Does anyone else here wonder why the USMC car (beautiful, BTW ) is yellow in some pics and orange in others. Is this just the light or is the paint somewhat like Extreme Rainbow in that it is different colors from different angles?
It's not iridescent (sp?) or color changing, but 2007 Grabber Orange is VERY different in different light settings. I have pics of my car looking darker in the shade, brighter but still orange in the sun, and very yellow in flourescent garage lights. It's hard to photograph with any consistency, as I'm sure others would attest, but a great color for getting your attention - plus it's real easy to find your car.
USMC - contact me if you want some perfect match vinyl number 15's for your ride instead of the static. I got a connexione'.

Hey Chuck I might hit you up on your source because I'm not to happy with the static cling ones. Are yours permanent, do you have them all the time? I was looking for one that are magnetic
Yup. I went with the perms instead of magnetic. Just like your boss stripes - these things stay on. And I have zero regrets having racing numbers on the side, as this is a tribute vehicle and it'll allow you to 'tell the story' about what the numbers mean.
Let me know and I'll PM the shop near here. Look back in this thread for pics. You won't be able to tell which were the statics and which were the permanant vinyls!
Have you guys found, that the "cling" decals are a problem? I really don't have a problem with mine. With the area good and clean, using a soft straight edge, to get the bubbles out, and warm soap water, mine stay on without a problem at all. I understand the permanent vinyl but with the right application, the "cling decal" works great, even at high speed... I just never take'm off.
I too would be interested in the permanent vinyl if the quality is there.
And wtf with the different shade colors??? Mine does the same....My avtar looks banana yellow. What's up with that, lol
