Hello Wolfey2k, Glad to hear that you are still clunk/thunking free. I as well have had no other issues or noises since the TSB fix. What a feeling................ Hey northy_polk, I am sorry that you are having such problems with your car and dealer. You should be out enjoying your ride instead of worrying about it. I do hope that things go better for you. Wolfey2k, I read that you are getting ready to SC your ride. What SC are you going with? I don't know if you read my posts concerning my SC install, but it was no fun. And with the Dyno readings that I was getting from the installer, nothing was making a hell of alot of sense. I even posted my printouts of my dyno readings and those that read my posts thought I was pulling some kind of Bullsh%t, because the readings were so off. And I mean OFF! The air fuel was stupid OFF! The reading was high in the 22 and 19 average. I went to another shop and they fixed it right away, but I had to fight the original installer to get my refund. And even then they claimed they were right and only split the refund with me. Never again will I use them. I had the Saleen SC and 475 kit installed. And of course my luck, I got a bad casting and there were two little pin holes and I was leaking coolant. So they did another install and other than the dyno "stupid" reading, everything was good. But I eventually go some time off and took my car to another shop and they fixed me right up. I was running at 15 on the afr, but after the dyno I was running at 12, and I gained another 70 hp and got everything right were it should be on my readings. But I do LOVE my Saleen SC. I hope you get yours done soon. You are going to love it my friend!
talk to you soon, Casper

Connections in the parts dept. at the dealer I scored the updated mounts(Per TSB) and returned the defective ones when I put in my Dspecs and ProKit. Noise is gone. Its like driving a new car!
They have the "Gold" studs
What did you "score?" Parts and labor are free under warranty.

my 07 does this so bad what do i need to do to fix it I have aftermarket springs
Go to your/a dealer. Tell them you need to have your strut mounts replaced under the TSB because you have ''strut mount chuckle''...That''s what they call it! I had mine replaced, but the stupid car has so many bumps, creaks, rattles, etc. that I''ve given up and am just waiting for an award of damages in a lemon law suit.
i have been going threw the same **** i tried to get them to buy it back i only have 7500 miles on it i was going to get gt500 strut mounts off ebay. they said they changed them once but never did i know they didnt
I''ve got the chuckle now! Just ordered part number 8R3Z-18183-B strut mounts. The noise started last week at 12,000 miles. Found this thread and now I''ll put the parts in myself. Thanks for the info guys.
I''m not sure but I think I have the same problem and have since the car was new. My 05 GT makes a thunk noise when I cut the wheel sharply and move at low speeds. For example I back out my driveway, cut the wheel and hear a distinct thunk that sounds like metal on metal. The first few times I thought I had run over something.
What is the 800 number we all need to call and complain to?
