Dude if you wanna drink and drive 'buzzed' that's just fine...... go find a deserted road out in the middle of no where...

Its the fact that possibly injuring yourself is one thing (you obviously were impaired in some way because you messed up your Stang which you obviously love).

Its the fact that your 'defenders' seem to not even consider the fact that all it takes can be the few seconds involved in you injuring your car as you descrivbed, to hit another vehicle and make someone a widow or someone an orphan. You want to take your own life in your hands, that's just fine. Its when you are playing roulette with other people's lives that I get a bit upset....

Sorry about your Pony - hope it doesn;t cost too much to get her back on the road and up to spec. Just be careful out there, man....

yea so, im leaving my freinds house at like 3 am a little buzzed, and i hit a curb going like 30 35. my car dies shortly afterwards and im like omgwtf!!!11 i crash at my freinds place til morning, and then one of my other freinds came and helped me out. at first we thought it might be the battery, but he jumped me and nothing, car refuses to start. then we get some gas and fill it up, still nothing. my only option was to call AAA. i call and they tell me my dad cancled my membership, so i had to renew it for 60 dollars. to truck comes, pick me up (****ed up my exhaust bc its soo low) and we go to campus (UCF) where i have a parking spot in a garge. too bad the truck was a huge flatbed and didnt fit into the garage, so i had to park it in a regular parking lot. plus im going down for thanksgiving to SoFla so its going to stay there till i get back. as we r lowering the car intot he parking lot, the tow guy notices some fluid dripping from my car. take a look under and the whole front end of my car on the bottomm is ****ed up hardcore. the radiator (or whaterver is there) is completely bent, almost broken in 2, and the guy said i probabkly have a cracked radiator.

how ****ed am i? like how much cash is this gonna run me, i was planning on buying rims and tires, guess not ne more, ****ing **** god dammit

It's called divine intervention. Good thing you got stuck because you could have killed someone that night.

Why do people think they need to say things on a forum like don't drink and drive, or don't street race ? Either you get it or you don't. This dude is in college. Party on, get drunk, have unprotected sex, don't be afraid to remove the tag under your mattres while your at it. I know, I did the same things and I'd do it all over again. No matter how hard you try and be safe you will die, and it is always too soon. (I hate political corretctness and people who smile)

Wrong. The problem is his life isnt the only one he takes in his hands when he drinks and drives. Killing yourself is one thing, killing a pregnant lady driving home from work is another.

hate to fuel the fire here...

But this is just another punk ass kid...with too much of daddy's money to blow and no responsibility of his own...and I know this because I grew up in south fla. had a lot of rich friends who lived in Weston ...I also graduated from UCF in '02...i know the type..

No matter what you say to this kid he's going to keep drinking and keep driving..until he ends up in jail for a DUI or worse...

we were all there...we all did it- myself included...

btw: love the avatar

ok, nice to know other people have been in this situation b4. im not rich, if i was id have the GT. i really honestly dont think ill be drinking and driving againbc i dont want to **** up myself or my car or other people. but u guys make it seem like i was ****ing wasted and driving, i had 2 beers, the reason i hit the curb was bc i was paying attention bc i was on the phone, so im just cruising on the phone, i look up and bam, curb right there, couldnt do nething to react, but i shoulndt have been so distracted to begin with. non of my tires went flat and my rims are not bent, soo i wasnt going that fast, probabbly like 25 or 30. but yea, i have the ford warrenty and they should be here within the hour and they will take a look at my car 2morrow.

now a new question arises, will they not want to do warrenty work bc i have all the mods on my car (see sig)?? ill ****ing throw a hissy fit if they r like, "sorry but ur car has lower control arms and therefore we cant replace the radiator." we'll see i guess

I think that you've received plenty of the attention that you have been seeking with this thread...

I don't think you have anything to worry about with your mods affecting whether or not they are going to warranty your radiator...why should Ford be responsible to fix your car since you were the one who f'd it up? Come on, assume some responsibility here. That's the problem with the kids (like you) in our society, parents keep giving their kids cars and other things that they don't really appreciate, and then expect someone else to pay for the screw ups when they happen. I bet if your parents were to see this thread, they would be embarrassed by your behavior, not to mention your grammer/english skills.

Time to suck 'em up, be a man, and take care of this on your own. If it takes mommy and daddy not giving you the cash to get your tires/wheels you were wanting, maybe that will be the only lession you get out of this. Pay for your own screw ups.

Dude... a warranty isn't going to cover something you did to your car. Do you seriously think that Ford is going to pick up the tab because you ran your 'Stang into a curb? They aren't. Bring your checkbook.

A warranty is for repairing items that go bad on their own volition: Factory radio goes out? Warranty. Water pump? Warranty. Horn button stuck? Warranty. Busted up radiator because you ran your car into a curb? Not warranty. You pay.
