Stock tire 1996 how wide? [Archive]

I have a 1996 mustang gt and i was wondering how wide of tires i could put on the stock rims? thanks for the help

If they are the 17" rims, then you could put 275/40's on them

they are only the 16" rims.

245/50-16 or 245/45-16 are the largest that we list.
