http://www.wheelsnext.com/default.cfm?action=dspWheel&MODEL=HPR%2D5&color=CHROME
dunno which to go with, wut do u guys think?
awakeinAZ 11-19-2006, 11:41 AM Like #3 myself, the gunmetal 5 spoke one. Depends on what color your car is though!
mattblasi 11-19-2006, 12:00 PM I like both the last 2 (last one is my fav) but color depends on the color of your car. I really prefer the 5 spoke look over the mesh styles on our cars.
|UCF|chron 11-19-2006, 06:09 PM my car is redfire with 15% tints and lowered

Deffinately 5-spoke. I'll let you decide color.
WhiteStallion06 11-19-2006, 06:28 PM If i were you....id go with five spoke black but im not you. lol i like the five spoke better
mattblasi 11-19-2006, 06:46 PM I would do 5 spoke black (wait that is what i did ) black wheels look hot on the redfire but so dose chrome, and gunmetal so I dunno its all up to you.
|UCF|chron 11-19-2006, 07:01 PM only thing is that the 18x8 onthe website come with a 225 wide tire, isnt that too small?
Newbreedgt05 11-19-2006, 07:17 PM You definitely want to go with a wider wheel than 8". The stock wheels are 8" wide. I wouldn't go any narrower than a 9" for the front and maybe a 10" for the back. JMO. I think the 4th wheel in the gunmetal color would look the best, but just go with whatever wheel you like. They all look pretty good.
slow07 11-19-2006, 07:23 PM I like the chrome 5-spoke the best.
androdz 11-20-2006, 06:05 AM 2 thin wheels you need big tires on this cars. I wouldn't go anything under 9.5, erm make that 10 on the rear.

moosestang 11-20-2006, 07:17 AM I'm sure they can find some wider tires like a 255/45/18 all the way around. Don't listen to all the wide rim nuts, all you need are 8 inch wide if you don't plan on a wider tire in the back.

bl1nk 11-20-2006, 07:58 AM I like the chrome 5 spokes better myself...then again Im not a big fan of mesh style rims.. just dont look like they belong on our cars (or most anything Id drive actually). I think the black ones would be nice if you plan on going for a blackout theme but otherwise get the chromes.
Moose, I never knew you lived in Fl.. and Id never seen your car before. Looks good man!
|UCF|chron 11-20-2006, 02:51 PM im leaning more towards the 5 spoke, but now i need to see where i can find a good deal with some wide(r) tires.

Sn00ganS1337 11-20-2006, 05:52 PM first of all, you have to go with either of the 5 spokes. your car is red and black rims always look amazing on red cars. the chrome would be a safe bet as it seems chrome looks great on any of our cars I've seen with them
|UCF|chron 11-20-2006, 06:37 PM yea but now i need to see if i can shell out the xtra cash for a wider rim and tire. the tires cost more than the wheels wtf

Apparently someone likes the tires to break loose instead of having good traction or someone has never been to the track.

moosestang 12-01-2006, 01:53 PM I've been to the track and you don't need a 10 inch wide rim to get good traction. I'll take a flexible sidewall and low psi over a wide ass tire (275/40/18) stretched over a 10 inch wide rim with a super stiff sidewall any day. If you don't have a lot of power then wider tires can hurt your ET more than help.
