Default Wax and two sided tape

Alright well i took my car into the shop the other day to get some work done... and i have cervini side exhaust body kit and i noticed that my back had come loose a bit , nothing too noticable but bothered me i got the guy to check it out and he said the two sided tape was not sticking well so they put some new stuff on there and it fit fine... but he told me that wax will make the two sided tape not stick as well and to be careful putting a lot of wax near where the tape connects the kit to the car....

You think they find something better than two sided tape to connect something to your car sounds cheaply done when you think about it but its been fine ever since and looks great so im not complaining
