Ok so today i went out to see if i can find some new things for my sound system well i found a few heads thats looks NICE but when i asked the guy some prices he asked what system it came with and i told him the shaker 500 he said you cannot replace the head if you do the speakers wont work then i left went to another place that had more experience well the guy said that every speaker in the car has its own amp that way if you change out the amp you'll most likely mess your system up which means completly new system which sucks well you cant change the speakers or change the head but you can add speakers too it i just wanted to mention this because i havent seen this posted yet well any comments or ideas is this news for me or does everyone know this
I think they are a little off. it really is not a big deal to replace, what are you wanting to do?
Page 2 in my signature showes how I integrated in a mach460 in my 94. While they are different from the shakers, they are also the same if that makes sence...
You do not have to replace your whole system if you replace the head unit. I do not remember exactly, but I read somewhere in here before that the stock amps use a different voltage than normal aftermarket stereos put out. The info is on here somewhere.
